Firmware upgrade

Upgrade firmware is possible using the Bluebot application. If new firmware is detected, upgrade it according to the notification in the Bluebot application. The battery level must be ≥50% during the firmware upgrade, before starting the upgrade, place the device on the charging base if necessary. The robot must be connected to Wi-Fi to perform the upgrade.

Go to the Bluebot application > select your robot > ''More'' > ''More information''. Here you will find which firmware version your robot is running.

Until when is the software supported?

We guarantee consumers that we will support our robots with software updates for at least 2 years from product introduction. However, this does not mean that we will stop supporting it after 2 years, for example the Blaupunkt Bluebot XBOOST received an update in January 2022 (introduction November 2019). Support depends on several factors, such as the specifications of the robot and the ability of the software or hardware components to implement the update.
