Blaupunkt Bluebot Limited Warranty

Blaupunkt BlueBot warrants that, subject to the exclusions and limitations set forth below, parts (abcde) and parts with motors are warranted for a period of two (2) years from the date of purchase (the “Warranty Period”). The Main PCB has a one (1) year warranty, and the battery has a six (6) month warranty.

In the event that the product does not meet the warranty standards to our reasonable satisfaction, we will within a reasonable commercial time either credit, repair or replace the product as described below, free of charge. The buyer bears the logistics costs for returning the product.

Making a Claim Under the Limited Warranty

If you would like to make a warranty claim, please contact support@blaupunktrobotics.eu. Please ensure you have your product serial number and original proof of purchase with date of purchase and full product details. Our colleagues will advise you on the process for submitting a claim.

Any claim under the Limited Warranty is conditional on you reporting the alleged defect to us (or our authorized service company/distributor) within a reasonable time of becoming aware of it and, in any event, no later than the expiration of the warranty period.

Recovery

If a claim is received within the warranty period and the product is found to be defective under warranty, we will, at our sole discretion:

a) Credit the product after inspection of the returned product.
b) Repair the product.
c) Exchange the product for a new product, or a product that is manufactured from new or serviceable used parts and is at least functionally equivalent to the original product.
d) Exchange the product for a new and improved model that has at least the same or improved function as the original product.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the warranty period will not be extended, renewed or otherwise affected by the subsequent exchange, resale, repair or replacement of the product. However, any part repaired or replaced during the warranty period will be covered by the remainder of the original warranty period or ninety (90) days from the date of repair or replacement, whichever is longer. Replaced or repaired products, if applicable, will be returned to you as soon as possible. All replaced parts or other equipment become our property. If the product is found not to be covered by this Limited Warranty, we (and our authorized service companies) reserve the right to charge a processing fee. When repairing or replacing the product, we may use new, equivalent to new or reconditioned products or parts.

What is not covered?

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, the Limited Warranty does not apply if the defects are related to:

(a) normal wear and tear (including, but not limited to, battery wear and tear);
(b) defects caused by rough or improper handling or use, or damage caused by accident, abuse, neglect, fire, water, lightning or other natural disasters;
(c) the battery has been short-circuited, if the seals on the battery case or cells are broken or show signs of tampering, or if the battery has been used in equipment other than for which it is specified;
(d) failure to comply with product instructions;
(e) intentional or deliberate damage, neglect or negligence;
(f) the use of spare parts or other replacement items (including consumables) not supplied or recommended by us;
(g) any modification to the product made by you or any third party not authorized by us;
(h) inadequate packaging of the product for transportation;
(i) extreme or external causes beyond our reasonable control.

This Limited Warranty does not apply to consumable accessories and other consumables, such as filters or brushes. This Limited Warranty is void if (a) the serial number of the product has been removed, obliterated, mutilated, altered or in any way illegible (as determined in our sole discretion), or (b) you violate the terms of this warranty or your contract with us.

Limitation of BlueBot's Liability

This Limited Warranty is your sole and exclusive remedy against BlueBot and BlueBot's sole and exclusive liability for defects in your product. This Limited Warranty is in lieu of all other warranties and liabilities of BlueBot, whether oral, written, (non-compulsory) statutory, contractual, in tort or otherwise, including, but not limited to, and to the extent permitted by applicable law, any implied conditions, warranties or other terms relating to satisfactory quality or fitness for a particular purpose. However, this Limited Warranty does not exclude or limit:
I) any legal (statutory) rights you have under applicable national laws or
II) any rights you have against the seller of the product
